Theradome laser treatment

Theradome laser treatment is a high quality low level laser therapy (LLLT) device that can be an effective option for men and women looking to prevent hair loss and to encourage new growth. For both men and women with pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia), it can achieve a significant slowing of the hair loss process, and can result in increased hair volume.

The Theradome laser helmet featured on The Hair Loss Clinic TV show, filmed here at The Maitland Clinic.

Low level laser therapy (such as Theradome laser treatment for hair loss) has been shown, through multiple clinical trials, to be able achieve the following:

  • Reduce or prevent hair loss
  • Increase the thickness of hair
  • Return thinned vellus hair to a natural, healthy terminal hair state

When applied to the scalp, low level laser has demonstrated the ability to decrease hair loss by:

  • Increasing blood flow to the scalp
  • Decreasing inflammation in the scalp
  • Stimulating cell metabolism

These factors contribute to restoring the body’s natural healing process by rebalancing the biochemical processes that nurture hair follicles and stimulate hair growth. Results will vary between individuals depending on the severity of their hair loss, their personal physiological responsiveness to the treatment, their genetic makeup, and any underlying medical conditions. However,

The laser process is painless and non-invasive, with negligible side effects. It is carried out conveniently in your own home for 20 minutes, twice a week.

The Maitland Clinic’s specialists will discuss the potential benefits and advise you on whether laser therapy is the right treatment for your hair, combined with other non-surgical treatments, instead of surgery or in conjunction with a transplant procedure to help optimise the post-surgery results.

The Theradome laser helmet is priced at £899 and can be purchased by contacting us on 02392 706122 or enquiries@themaitlandclinic.com. Alternatively, you are welcome to complete an online consultation form so that we can establish whether Theradome laser treatment is the right option for your hair loss.
