This patient underwent 2 FUT hair transplant procedures with Dr Edward Ball, totalling 5803 grafts:
- 3149 grafts by FUT in December 2021, to restore the frontal two-thirds of the scalp
- 2654 grafts by FUT in August 2024, to add some coverage to the crown, thicken the frontal half and slightly lower the hairline
He had stopped topical finasteride before his second surgery and is not currently using hair loss medication. The patient is delighted with his results and describes a considerable improvement in self-confidence, explaining that his hair loss had started to feel overwhelming and "taking over his life".
