1895 grafts by FUT

This patient in his mid 40s was concerned about his receding hairline which had been slowly creeping back over the years. He had done lots of research online and had visited other clinics for consultations before seeing Dr. Ball. His preference was to wear his hair longer and he was favouring the FUT method of graft harvesting in order to avoid shaving the donor area. During the consultation, Dr. Ball did not detect any thinning in the mid scalp or crown and therefore felt it appropriate to lower his hairline. 1895 grafts were used by the FUT method.

The final images in this set show the donor scar at 12 months post op. The patient had excellent skin characteristics and healed with a very fine linear scar.
